Rosemary Phelan, R.N., was raised in the herbal tradition, educated as a Massage Therapist in the U.S., and later as a Registered Nurse in Canada. She has served as a Community Nurse since 1996, providing care to the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor in a multi-cultural, urban centre. Rosemary also served four years as an Urgent Case Manager for the Ministry of Health's Community Care Access Program, one year as a Telehealth Ontario triage nurse, and one year as a Personal Support Worker educator. She  also worked in the youth shelter system for two years. In the early 2000's,  Rosemary  spent three years studying the applications of live music (voice and harp) in pain management and end-of-life care, thus uniting her vocations of music and caregiving.
